What’s up everyone…hope your ‘09 is off to a rockin’ start! We just wanted to touch base and start the new year off with an update on the latest Rev Theory news –
NEW YEAR, NEW TOUR
So after a brief holiday break, we’re stoked to be back on the road again, this time as direct support on Theory of a Deadman’s Canadian tour. We kicked off the tour last Thursday in front of a packed house at Le Nationale in Montreal, many of whom were seeing us for the first time. Be sure to check out www.revtheory.com and www.myspace.com/revtheory for a list of upcoming tour dates, including new headlining shows in Spokane, Salt Lake City, Idaho Falls, and Tempe!
REV THEORY TO ROCK “MONDAY NIGHT RAW”
We’re super excited to announce that we’ve been tapped to play WWE “Monday Night Raw” on Monday, January 26th in Cleveland, Ohio! We’ll be performing Randy Orton’s theme song, “Voices”, a song which features Rich on vocals, and also happens to be WWE’s biggest theme at the moment. In addition, WWE "The Music" compilation CD, which features “Voices”, drops the following day - Tuesday, Jan 27th.
“Monday Night Raw” airs on the USA Network and is cable TV’s most watched program, so please be sure to tune in!!
“LIGHT IT UP” VIDEO CONTEST
We're calling all fans to action and urging you to create your own kick-ass, home-made "Light It Up" video. Once your video is good to go, please email it, or a url link where we can view your video, to ricky@idolroc.com. We'll be personally selecting and showcasing our 3 favorite videos on our official Youtube channel - www.youtube.com/revtheory.
After we've selected our 3 favs, we're giving fans 2 weeks to vote on which "Light It Up" fan video is their favorite. The winner scores a Rev Theory Prize Package including a signed guitar and other cool swag!!
All video submissions must be received no later than Friday, February
6th.Top 3 video contest voting will take place on www.revtheory.com starting Monday, February 9th - Friday, February 23rd.
