Looks like Rev is on a bit of a touring break. Can't wait to see them when they get back on the road again. I love these guys. I know how hard they work.

We hope you all had a great holiday weekend! We spent our weekend headlining shows all over the great state of Texas. HUUUUGE thanks goes out to all our amazing Lone Star State fans in Dallas, Beaumont, Houston, San Antonio and El Paso for making each show completely insane!! Amidst all the fun and chaos we did manage to find some time to put together a little rundown on the latest Rev Theory news…
Our song, “Broken Bones”, will be featured in promos for “The Cleaner” on A&E, starting Friday, May 29th for a one month run. “The Cleaner”, inspired by the true story of a real-life “extreme interventionist”, stars Benjamin Bratt as William “The Cleaner” Banks. Be sure to log onto www.aetv.com for local air times.
Rev Theory is now on Facebook, Twitter, Buzznet, and SayNow!In addition to www.revtheory.com and www.myspace.com/revtheory there’s tons more good stuff to check out on www.facebook.com/revtheory, www.twitter.com/revtheory, and www.buzznet.com/revtheory. These are all official pages overseen by the band so log on today and show us some love! If cell phones are more your speed, we just launched an official SayNow number. Call us at 646.217.0502 (YES IT'S REALLY US) to say hi or to leave us messages and to listen to our updates. If we miss you, we'll definitely try to return your call.
But wait, it gets even better!!!

On the tour front, we have three pretty sick radio festivals on deck! First up is Discorus in Oklahoma City on the 29th, then ROCKFEST in Kansas City on the 30th and finally LAZERfest in Des Moines on the 31st. If Rock on the Range was an indicator of how these other festivals are going to shape up, then everyone is in for a real treat!! After that we’ll be taking a very short, but very much needed break from the road in June before heading back out in July. Please stay tuned for more details…

My CALL IN to 97.5 FM
So the radio announcer on my local radio station 97.5 tells everyone about Rev Theory's new album Light It Up and that he's about to play their song next on the radio. He says to everyone if they like the song "Light It Up" then call in and shout out. So I did, I called the radio station, told them to keep Rock'n Rev Theory and I loved the band they are great. He says thanks but nothing more than that, they didn't come back on to let us know what everyone else thinks about them. Pfffffffttttttttttt radio scams..I hate it when they suck you in to get them to call you then they play songs forever to get you to listen to see if your voice shows up on the radio. But no matter, I did it beacause I love my band Rev Theory. Love to hear a shout out from all you rockers out their so talk to me baby!

NEW TOUR, TV APPEARANCE, VIDEO CONTEST, & MORE!!
What’s up everyone…hope your ‘09 is off to a rockin’ start! We just wanted to touch base and start the new year off with an update on the latest Rev Theory news –
NEW YEAR, NEW TOUR
So after a brief holiday break, we’re stoked to be back on the road again, this time as direct support on Theory of a Deadman’s Canadian tour. We kicked off the tour last Thursday in front of a packed house at Le Nationale in Montreal, many of whom were seeing us for the first time. Be sure to check out www.revtheory.com and www.myspace.com/revtheory for a list of upcoming tour dates, including new headlining shows in Spokane, Salt Lake City, Idaho Falls, and Tempe!
REV THEORY TO ROCK “MONDAY NIGHT RAW”
We’re super excited to announce that we’ve been tapped to play WWE “Monday Night Raw” on Monday, January 26th in Cleveland, Ohio! We’ll be performing Randy Orton’s theme song, “Voices”, a song which features Rich on vocals, and also happens to be WWE’s biggest theme at the moment. In addition, WWE "The Music" compilation CD, which features “Voices”, drops the following day - Tuesday, Jan 27th.
“Monday Night Raw” airs on the USA Network and is cable TV’s most watched program, so please be sure to tune in!!
“LIGHT IT UP” VIDEO CONTEST
We're calling all fans to action and urging you to create your own kick-ass, home-made "Light It Up" video. Once your video is good to go, please email it, or a url link where we can view your video, to ricky@idolroc.com. We'll be personally selecting and showcasing our 3 favorite videos on our official Youtube channel - www.youtube.com/revtheory.
After we've selected our 3 favs, we're giving fans 2 weeks to vote on which "Light It Up" fan video is their favorite. The winner scores a Rev Theory Prize Package including a signed guitar and other cool swag!!
All video submissions must be received no later than Friday, February
6th.Top 3 video contest voting will take place on www.revtheory.com starting Monday, February 9th - Friday, February 23rd.
